The world is still in order, and our hero lives a sheltered life in the city. Until one day, he receives a letter.
His paternal aunt has passed away. From her, the hero inherits a mountain cabin high up on the legendary Dawnstone. Little is known about the late aunt, except for her love of legends and fairy tales. She leaves him an old book — but it is empty, except for one chapter: the chapter about Dawnstone Mountain.
So the hero sets off for the seemingly touristy village of “Dawnstone.” But he soon realizes that there are many secrets to uncover. He encounters mythical creatures like will-o’-the-wisps, Perchten, and the cuddly Wolpertingers. As a newcomer to the village, he must prove himself before being accepted.
